Every year dad would carve one statue starting from a raw piece of wood. I have most of them. my brother, Ross, in Texas has picked a select few and my sister, Nura in Wisconsin has one sweet hummingbird.

2023 Update

It’s been five years since my last entry.

Five years since my mother Grace Shahrokh passed away.

It’s been 18 years since my father Darius passed away on this date March 20, 2005.

In remembrance of my parents I hope to keep this blog alive. I’m grateful that all of their 25 audiobooks are still included on Bahai-library.com/wttp.

 I also have listened to Darius’ voice on Windows. His work on that gave my son Ken so much information. He learned by listening and Darius and you were a huge influence on his knowledge of this Faith.

I remember clearly my visit with Beth McKenty to your home and I am so glad we came because that was the final time I saw Darius alive. He seemed like a saint to me. His gracious posture, his loving hosting. I sat in wonder before him and still pray for him when I pray for the departed. You served such a delicious meal with lamb and couscous, I remember. You were always the perfect hostess and we so enjoyed our time with you.

Windows to the Past  was translated into Vietnamese 10 years ago by me.
